Rebecca Westcott

Finally got the chance to see Rebecca Westcott's work up close at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. Her work has always felt so personal and warm. Like a big hug from a friend. Even more so in person.
These two photos were taken before we realized that doing so was prohibited.
We scolded ourselves.
A beautiful artist.
A life lost.

New Blue Pages Commercial

Mama T and I shot some new material for this year's commercial, starring a more mature but no less dapper El Destructo, and added it to some choice bits of the previous masterpiece to bring the illustrious Blue Pages into the future that is 2010. Basically the idea was to show luddites and alphabetically challenged folk that you don't even have to use the paper book version of the Pages because now it has found a home in the magical universe of the electronic age.
Enjoy and search out your favorite Canadian Portuguese friend or business. You know you want to even if you have no idea what this all really means...

The Selby Waits for You

Todd Selby is a photographer extraordinaire. His website The Selby captures creative folk in their natural habitat. His book is fantastic. Totally inspirational on several levels that you get to make up on your own time.
